Since 2019, I, Karthika, have embarked on a journey into the world of makeup, which has become my passion. Despite not taking up makeup professionally, I received numerous compliments from friends and family for the way I dressed them up before becoming an artist.
Initially, I learned the fundamentals of makeup from my close friend, E. Abiyathra (Essence makeup), who was already established in the field. Later, I honed my skills with the mentorship of Vidhya Viswadran (Vidhya hair and makeup), Sunilkumar Creative Hairstylist for hair expertise, and Manga jaganmohan for saree draping. With my thirst for knowledge, I further specialized in makeup under Viji KNR, whose makeup I've always admired. Furthermore, I attended SFX makeup and airbrush makeup workshops hosted by Krylon, and my desire to learn is insatiable. As a makeup artist, I've had the privilege of working with over 100 brides, models, and individuals with diverse textures and skin tones for the past four years. Having worked with different people has proven to be an invaluable source of experience. Nevertheless, my thirst for knowledge remains unquenchable, and I am eager to continue growing and evolving in this creative industry.
